On October 18, the first meeting of experience sharing conference of liberal arts scientific secretaries was held in ECNU. Chen Danfeng, the Deputy Director of Human Resources Office, Huo Jiucang and Wu Wenyu, the Deputy Director of Social Sciences Administration Department, are attended this conference. Fu Lili, the office director of ICI, was invited to exchange experience on behalf of the outstanding scientific research secretary.

Firstly, Chen Danfeng introduced the posts setting of scientific secretaries in ECNU, combined with the relevant documents of the Central Government and the Ministry of Education, the university will fully support scientific secretaries’ work in many aspects, such as staff levels, vocational training and so on. Combined with the social science management work of the university, director Wu Wenyu introduced the responsibility and mission of scientific secretaries, the basic situation of liberal arts scientific research and the scientific secretary training in detail. He emphasized that as an important part of the management of scientific research in ECNU, the scientific secretaries are playing a crucial role in scientific research management, they’re also the organizers and executors of scientific research activities. What’s more, they’re also an important support for the construction of "Double Frist-rate" universities.

Then, Fu Lili, the office director of ICI, exchanged her experience of how to be a good scientific secretary. ICI has been evaluated as “Excellent” level in the assessment of Ministry of Education, and is also a member of the first batch of national high-level think tank union. Director Fu Lili shared her work experience from three aspects: being a hardworking manager to develop ICI, a good helper for experts, and a good ambassador for ICI publicity. She also said that she will make further efforts to improve her professional skills, management and service ability in the future, and will work harder with the experts in ICI to contribute to the construction of “Double First-rate” university.
