In order to fully implement the spirit of the 19^th National Congress of CPC, and promote the development of new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics and promote innovation in the research and dissemination of ideological theories in the media era. On December 20^th, “China Think Tank Management and Ideological Theory Propagation Forum 2017” was held in Beijing. Relevant leaders of the central ministries and leaders in charge of provincial and municipal theoretical work as well as think tank work attended this forum. ICI has been successfully selected as a think tank for CTTI. Dr. Xiao Sihan was invited to attend this forum.

This forum has solemnly released the results of the latest think tank supplement of CTTI and presented certificates to the selected think tank units. ICI has been successfully selected because it played an important role in basic education, teacher education and many other fields. Currently, only a few included think tanks come from the field of education, and ICI is the only educational unit in ECNU that is successfully selected. Previously, ICI was also selected as the initial member of the National Association of high-end think tank in September.

CTTI system was invented by China Think Tank Research and Evaluation Center of Nanjing University and Guangming Daily Think Tank Research and Publication Center. It is the very first comprehensive set of descriptions and collection of think tank data in China, providing users with data collation, data retrieval, data analysis, Data applications and other functions of the think tank indexing system. In the future, ICI will continue to actively respond to the strategic plan to accelerate the establishment of the philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics and promote the construction of a new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics. ICI will also fully implement its leading role of the university think tanks in serving the Party and the country. Based on curriculum reform and school innovation, ICI will strive to become a high-end and an influential think tank with great international reputation.
