Ms. Yang Meiling, president of Taiwan Kang Chiao Bilingual School, with the delegation of Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Group visited ICI, and attended the exchange meeting on November 22nd,2016. Prof. Cui Yunhuo, the Director of ICI, part-time researcher Prof. Xu Binyan, and Prof. Kong Qiping received the delegation.

At the meeting, President Yang introduced the delegation members. Prof. Cui expressed his sincere welcome to the arrival of the delegation. He said that since the beginning of the 1990s cross-strait exchanges, Kang Hsuan has made many contributions to the cultural and educational undertakings on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

The two sides exchanged views on the reform of mathematics curriculum and teaching materials. Around the "core competence" related issues, such as the views on "competence", the understanding of mathematics core competence, the integration of "competence" and teaching materials, they exchanged practices and experience in Shanghai and Taiwan.

The meeting ended in a friendly atmosphere. In the afternoon, Prof. Hu Huimin and Prof. Wu Gangping respectively led the delegation to DaHuShan Road No.1 Primary School and Xianxia Senior High School for field trips.
