In order to provide a forum for scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the area of Curriculum and Instruction across the world to exchange their empirical, conceptual, and theoretical studies, to promote cross-regional and cross-cultural research in this field, and to develop an international network for researchers in similar domains, the Institute of Curriculum and Instruction (ICI), a key research institute affiliated to the Ministry of Education (MoE) of China, organizes the 16th Shanghai International Curriculum Forum.
