In 1918, the famous American education scholar John Franklin Bobbitt published the book The Curriculum, and since then “the curriculum” was officially born as an independent research field. In 2018, on the occasion of the field has experienced 100 years, the ICI of the East China Normal University, the key research base of the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, took this as a letter and gathered ideas to invite experts and scholars from both home and abroad to pay tribute to Bobbit and to the 100-year curriculum research. On November 2^nd, the 16th Shanghai International Curriculum Forum hosted by ICI will start at East China Normal University!

ICI, the organizer of this forum invited 14 experts and scholars in the field of curriculum research to conduct a dialogue on "Centennial of Curriculum Studies: Commencement and Imagination".

Let’s gather together beside Liwa River to deeply discuss the development of curriculum research in the last 100 years, and talk about the future imagination.
