Entrusted by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, the expert group of ICI conducted training on curriculum leadership and the establishment of research system for the principals, teaching directors, and curriculum directors of 28 schools in Macao. This is the 133th high-end training program of East China Normal University.

On the morning of October 16, the opening ceremony was held in Room 1613 of the Wenke Building. Yang Changli, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of East China Normal University, Zhou Yajun, deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and Director Huang Yiheng of the Education Research and Education Reform Office of the Macao Education and Youth Bureau attended and delivered speeches. Zhang Ping, director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of the East China Normal University, the leaders of the school office, the Propaganda Department and other departments and Professor Cui Yunhuo, the director of ICI, attended the meeting. The deputy director Professor Chen Shuangye presided over the ceremony, and 30 Macao students participated.

Based on the training needs and the professional development of teaching staff, combined with the professional advantages and characteristics of ICI, the project invited Professor Cui Yunhuo, Professor Wu Gangping, Professor Ke Zheng, Professor Liu Lianghua and Lu Bohong, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Education Commission for guidance. The theme of the project is “Curriculum Leadership and the Establishment of Research System”, with “teaching and research work plan” as a guiding material, adopting “cleaning + washing + drying” expert training mode: First, clarify the real problem or problem boundary; Second, remove old ideas and techniques and construct new ideas and techniques through interaction (in groups or between teachers and students); Third, share the real homework with peers.

The project implements the “see one, do one, teach one” professional skills learning method, allowing participants to join in the three-month training process by participating in the mixed research activity that combine face-to-face classes and network classes. This kind of activity will promote the learning effect.

【The Teaching and Researcher Training Center of East China Normal University, sponsored by ICI, was established in 2009 and is the first and the only professional training institution in China.
